Support for learning
Support for learning and school attendance is based on a three-tier model where the support forms and structures are gradually enhanced. The support levels are general, intensified and special support. Ask more from your child’s teacher, special education teacher or principal!
The primary aim for supporting learning and school attendance is to enhance the pupils’ basic skills and to prevent problems in advance in order for the pupil to attain his or her aims for learning.
The growth and learning of the pupil is an important part of the support for learning and school attendance.
The pupil’s right to sufficient support for growth and learning is ensured through
- student counselling
- student welfare services
- interpreting and assistant services
- general, intensified and special support.
The cooperation between home and school is of greatest importance as regarding the growth and learning of the pupil.
