In Loviisa comprehensive school education is offered in:
1 school with comprehensive school grades 1–9 and a upper secondary school (Finnish)
1 school with comprehensive school grades 7–9 (Swedish)
11 schools with comprehensive school grades 1–6 (both Finnish and Swedish).
In Loviisa approximately 1 650 pupils participate in comprehensive school education. Some 150 teachers and 50 teacher’s assistants stand for the teaching.
Preschool education is offered by the comprehensive school grades 1–6 schools and the teaching is generally given at the schools.
